Il Cristo Flourescente

Il Cristo Fluorescente was born in Rome in september 1984.
His first love, at the age of 9 or 10, is John Lennon.
His second love becomes post-rock.
His third love is DIY.
From 2004 to 2007 he conducts several radio transmission on the webradio Fusoradio.net.
From 2004 he starts deepening photography and graphics, and he’s often called to make graphics for some gigs and arts associations in Rome.He begins to play bass and sing in 2007 with the band Crimen.
In the summer of 2009 he releases the Crimen Ep with his group.
In october 2009 he starts an intense live activity in Rome and nearby.
With the Spippolatori Collective, he organizes some experimental gigs linked with poetry and literature (something like noise readings) in which sometimes he reads some stuff written by himself with the spirit of a beat happening.

In summer 2010 he releases Lies Ep with Crimen, which sees the collaboration of the legendary American producer Kramer behind the mixer (Low, Galaxie 500, Robert Wyatt, Daniel Johnston among the others).
In 2010 his first novel is published in episodes on the Italian fanzine Jesusmile (now jesusmile-fanzine.wordopress.com).

In april he appears as main actor in the short film “Johnny!”, directed by Simone Bucci with the collaboration of the novelist Gianni Boanelli and the great Sirio Morrone.

In December 2010 one of his photographs is used on the front cover of the book “sull’arte del Getzemani” written by the poet and lifetime fraternal friend Giorgio Fichera.

At the moment, he’s playing bass in a new band with gypsy prog influences, he’s beginning to think to next Cristo Fluorescente’s release and he’s doing new stuff with Crimen.
